An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part Time Grants Officer to join a leading organisation based in Belfast City Centre.

This is a URGENT temporary on-going position

Hours of work: 22 hours per week (3 days)

Pay Rate: £12.84 per hour

Essential Criteria:

• A minimum of 3 years recent experience in a role which included grant processing
• Minimum of 5 GCSE passes at Grade C (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience using office based software
• Excellent IT skills – with strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills both written
• Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To assess applications and make recommendations on funding awards under scheme rules
• To process payments and make recommendations on entitlement to funding awards
• To make recommendations for development of Scheme policy and liaise with colleagues on procedural issues
• To provide support to the Development Officer team and external customers to maximise support
• To manage the recording keeping of grants information held on the bespoke database
• Provide high quality, efficient, effective, confidential and professional support
• Any other duties as required
