Office Operations Manager £20k-£28k (S71)

A Brand New Role is now available with one of my key clients based in Barnsley, easily commutable from Wakefield, Sheffield and surrounding areas. A company with global reach, this opportunity will allow you to work with businesses across the world. My Client is looking for an operationally focused manager with strong leadership skills and the ability to mould and develop a team to provide a world class service to all its customers. The right Candidate will be proactive and creative with plenty of energy and ideas to introduce new innovations to the business.

Key Duties:

- Manage a small Administrative team, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner

- Administrative functions will include, stock control, customer quotations, maintaining customer database, compiling reports and financial projections.

- Involved in all HR functions for the team, including recruitment process, inductions, and absence management.

- Provide ad-hoc support to directors as required

- Act as a central point of contact for all telephone, postal and digital enquiries

- Manage all communications to clients including monthly newsletters, and updating website content using easy to use CMS system


• Able to Demonstrate previous experience of leading an administrative team in an office environment

• Reliable and able to work and lead a team with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional organisation, planning and administration skills.

• Previous experience deputising with the ability to keep the office running smoothly when directors are overseas.

• Ability to evidence previous work with Sage, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook, internet and data entry.

• Previous experience as a central point of contact for a business

• GCSE maths B or higher or A level maths

• Able to manage a varied workload, balancing scheduled tasks with requests for
assistance from the team, which may have short deadlines.


• Knowledge and experience of eLearning Platforms for training purposes.

• Experience of working in a company with an overseas customer base
