Office Manager wanted NOW in Clitheroe BB7 salary £25-£30k plus performance bonus!
Our client is a highly respected product distribution firm, with the UK office & warehouse located in Clitheroe.
Due to a period of growth and development Reed are looking for an Office Manager with a background in dealing with and handling national & independent accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and passionate person to analyse, develop and improve our clients administrative/operations department dealing with Blue Chip retail organisations on a daily basis .
Duties to include but not be limited to:
Key responsibilities & tasks:
Supporting the sales team in managing and optimising customer relationships.
Administrative liaison between the internal sales team, warehouse and the customer.
Daily liaison & planning with warehouse personnel.
Develop positive relationships with clients.
Act as the point of contact and handle customer needs.
Supporting the Managing Director with additional duties as required.
Sales Order processing (mainly via email or EDI)
Resolve customer queries
Arrange customer returns
Manage customer back / forward orders
Upload product files to customers internal database
Supply product data to customers
Check stock availability on all items input into the system
Advise trade customers if any items are out of stock providing approximate delivery date if known
Issuing of order acknowledgments and confirmations for each order processed
Liaise with freight forwarders for imports and exports.
Track monthly sales targets
Skills and attributes:
Self-motivated and driven
Excellent organisational & team management skills
High attention to detail
Someone with strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities
Experience in E-commerce platforms such as Amazon Vendor Central, Wayfair- desirable.
Excellent IT skills.
Experience using ERP systems: Microsoft NAVISION is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Creative thinking with commercial acumen
Articulate-Strong levels of verbal and written communication skills
The successful candidate will be experienced in a similar role in a supplier dealing with major retail accounts. Excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite and candidates should have strong IT skills with previous ERP experience.
