My client, a property development company based in London SE1, are looking to recruit an Office Assistant / Receptionist, to join a growing team.

Salary is £16,000 - £20,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The role will suit an individual who is professional, proactive and hardworking with the ability to support a fast paced yet friendly team. This is a great opportunity to gain experience undertaking a variety of duties.

A full driving license is required because the role will require occasional visits to properties.

Key Responsibilities:

The role is essentially split between reception and property searching:

Reception:


· Answering the telephone and directing calls as required
· Meeting and greeting visitors
· Accurately inputting and processing invoices
· Organising refreshments for meetings in the board room
· Franking letters in bulk and organising outgoing mail
· Scanning and photocopying along with any other ad-hoc duties as required

Property Searching:

This organisation uses a platform to identify and assess land with development potential. Full training will be provided, an example of some of the tasks involved are:

· Compiling property information
· Using maps and images to determine locations of properties
· Learning about the ownership, development plans and values of properties
· Site visits/grid searching

Person spec:


· Must hold a full clean UK driving licence
· Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Be polite, presentable and hardworking
· Have good communication and organisational skills
· Be proactive - a fast learner and with initiative
· Have an interest in the property sector with the ambition to progress further
