Do you want the opportunity to work in a busy, small, friendly team based in Botley, Oxford, working in a decorative lighting business?

If successful, you will be working with an industry leader in the decorative lighting world providing an excellent service to UK clients from an exclusive portfolio of manufacturers throughout Europe, India and the Far East.

The role will be varied including the following:
• Dealing with client orders, recording orders and following progress with the manufacturers through to despatch.
• Keeping up-to-date database records.
• Promotional mailshots (via email) and follow ups.
• Sending out catalogues and dealing with general enquiries from clients and new contacts.
• Booking hotels and flights for company owner when required.
• Keeping a brought forward system of messages and reminders for company owner.
• Attendance at trade exhibitions, both in the UK and Europe.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need experience of using Excel and dealing and managing your workload is essential. As the administrator, you will also be expected to handle incoming phone calls and respond to these with excellent telephone manner.

You will also need to be a team player who is flexible and can help out members of your team when necessary.

This is a full time and permanent position.

Office hours are 08.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

There is free car parking at the office.

Salary: £18,000.
