Reed Education Bristol are currently working with a great nursery on an exciting new role in the central Bristol area. To start ASAP, the nursery are looking for an experienced Room Leader to join them on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for a creative practitioner who is approachable, organised and able to lead a small team.

The Nursery:

• This leading childcare provider operate 46 nurseries nationwide, all of which are Ofsted rated Good.

The Role:

• You will be expected to provide a high standard of care for all children, physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.
• You will be required to plan children’s profiles and create an excellent learning environment for all.
• You will give support to other staff members and work as part of a team to provide a safe environment where children can learn, play and develop.
• You will build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers.

What you will need:

• An NVQ in early years childcare level 3, working towards level 4.
• An ICT qualification would be desirable, or excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Minimum of GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the requirements set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
