Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant, Full Time

REED Education are currently working on the behalf of a 3 form entry Primary School School based in the Bexley borough.
We are currently recruiting for a full time Early Years teaching assistant who holds SEN experience.
The role will full time, normal schools hours 8.15am to around 3.30pm/4pm every day. This is a term time only position and has the option to be temporary long term or perm.
This is an exceptional School that is Ofsted regulated good school where the ’leadership, including governance, has good capacity to move the school to outstanding’. The School has a number of resources to engage the children in all aspects of their learning, which extends to outside the classroom setting.
This is very successful School with children at the heart of the company. As such you will need to be an enthusiastic, resourceful, vibrant Early Years educator with excellent leadership skills and ability to carry out observations to a high standard. You will be dedicated to the learning and development of each child and be prepared and willing to get 'stuck in' with tasks and activities.
In addition to this the school are looking for someone who has experience with students with special education needs, specifically autism.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision of the children, talking to parents, helping with planning within the nursery, completing children’s profiles, writing children’s reports, staying up-to-date with and tracking children’s progress, carrying out observations, using curriculum's such as the EYFS to promote good practice and to promote positive and creative learning.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Level 3 qualification or above
Have experience as an Early Years Educator/Early Years teaching assistant
Calm and patient under pressure
