About the English NQT Role
As an English NQT at this school you will be moving into an especially successful English Department and you will be supported from day one by your committed colleagues. This English NQT position involves leading classes up to GCSE. You will settle into your role quickly supported by your mentor and and outstanding leadership team. 

You will be required to:
Plan, prepare and deliver innovative lessons and assessments
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of literary and theoretical texts
Have excellent writing and editing skills
Demonstrates strong leadership skills
Have the ability to think creatively and be pro-active at all times
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The English NQT Person Specification
To be successful, you will be consistent and inventive English NQT who has a calm, positive classroom presence.
You will have a proactive approach to wider learning, ensuring your knowledge and understanding of the curriculum are impeccable.
You will be a teacher who can provide your pupils with a range of learning approaches and activities.
You should be able to deliver lessons with tangible passion and vigour that will motivate and inspire pupils.
