To prevent and/or minimise financials costs of Nominated & Sourced residual stocks. To analyse risk and disposal patterns on live and discontinued products, translating the data into deliverable actions to either minimise losses or influence stakeholders to implement solutions to prevent losses.
Deliver robust insights that demonstrate root cause, through to producing analysis of upcoming risk
You will be jointly responsible alongside the Supply Chain Managers - Planning to suggest the best possible clearance method on nominated and sourced residual stocks to provide the best financial return, from a set of predetermined clearance / disposal routes and to investigate alternative disposal / clearance options.
You will engage with the key stakeholders on your product groups to ensure that processes are adhered to and agreed actions are delivered. This is a collaborative role that requires strong influencing skills to co-ordinate all Departments to ensure delivery of KPIs mentioned in Performance Indicators below.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilitie
s
• Work with supply, demand and planning colleagues to identify and mitigate potential wastage risks, including RTV’s
• Identifying Potential waste risks due to shelf life
• Identifying process improvements to reduce waste and risk, and monitoring progress of activities, Identify and assess long term risks
• Initiate stock depot transfer to minimise write-off
• Manage discontinued line process issuing all relevant comms within agreed timescales / scrap / RTV as necessary

Performance Indicators

• Monthly/Annual Waste budget v’s Actual –
• Arrange Nominated Return to Vendors
• Ensure all discontinued lines are written off within agreed timescales
• Investigation of debit note queries
• Reporting on Risk and mitigation plans
• Year on year and trend comparison on write off stocks
• Stock sold/margin loss through jobbers, staff and telesales.


 
• Minimum of 2 years in a Supply Planner or similar role, preferably within an
 FMCG environment or retail
• Firm focus on maintaining/improving customer satisfaction and ability to work both accurately and to deadlines, often on one’s own initiative.

• Good communication skills are essential as is computer literacy.
• Excel Word and Strong spread sheet capabilities.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP software required.
• High degree of analytical skills required.
• Budgetary analysis and financial control experience an advantage.
