Helpdesk, customer service, IT, 1st line support

A client of mine are looking to add an additional member to their Helpdesk team. Due to continued growth they are now on the hunt for someone who has good 1st line experience and can communicate effectively when talking to end users over the phone.

Reporting directly to the Client Services Manager you will be providing support to external users from educational backgrounds on the businesses bespoke product.

Position: IT Support / 1st line support / Helpdesk support
Location: Newmarket
Salary: £17k + Benefits


Main Responsibilities for the IT Support / 1st line support / Helpdesk support
• Maintain daily activities of the customer service email helpdesk and respond to IT support enquiries.
• Handle occasional telephone support enquiries.
• Troubleshooting.
• Ad hoc quality control and user testing.
• Ad hoc administrative duties and team support.
• To perform any other activities as assigned by management.



Key requirements for the IT Support / 1st line support / Helpdesk support
Commercial experience of the following will need to be demonstrated on your CV-
• Helpdesk support
• Customer service experience
• Windows server
• Active Directory
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Willingness to learn
