New Opportunity for a New Business Developer in NG8 with our client, regarded as one of  leading distributors for resellers and end users in their market with annual turnover of £31 million, selling printing equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating business growth by building and developing client relationship,  sales accounts and brand promotion, using effective sales and marketing techniques.



£20K + £4K OTE, standard office working hours Mon-Fri, full time

Job Purpose:
• Building new business by gaining new customers
• Promote new and existing brands to targeted accounts
• Instigate sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain CRM System
Duties:
• Research prospects using all available media including internet
• Proactive engagement with prospects in order to identify & create new business opportunities
• Create and complete a high volume of outbound call activities within specified timeframes
• Provide management with market feedback
• Compile sales reports and distribute as instructed
• Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
• Deliver against set targets and campaign objectives

Skills/Qualifications:
• Previous targeted sales experience and success
• A positive attitude
• High level of initiative and enterprise
• Strong commercial sense
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Be self-motivated as an individual but also be able to work within a team
• Self-starter with tenacity, resilience and resourcefulness
• Understand the market and competitors
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Good numeracy and writing skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application essential, & other CRM systems beneficial
