A thriving company in Gateshead are looking for several 2nd Line Server Engineers to join a collaborative and innovative team! As a dynamic technology focused business, this company are looking for someone who can deliver fantastic customer service alongside a high level of technical skills. There are opportunities for remote on- boarding, so you can begin straight away!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnose and fix critical IT issues
  • Managing critical IT outages with customers efficiently resolve the situation
  • Incident management
  • Resolve Technical issues
  • Liaise direct with customers regarding technical issues
  • Identify reoccurring technical faults Technically assist the junior technical teams

 

You must have commercial experience with the following:

  • Microsoft Server 2012/ 2016+
  • Virtualisation (VMware, HyperV, etc)
  • Storage and networking technologies
  • Integration skills and working with different departments (Provisioning, Field, Customer services)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good documentation skills
  • Customer focussed
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies
  • Quality management – ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality
