Networking and Events Coordinator - Full Time - Ongoing Temporary Position with a potential of going permanent.

Our client a leading training provider, based within York City Centre are currently looking for an Networking and Events Coordinator to join their busy team and provide administrative and operational support to their current team.

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8.30-16.30 one week and 9.30-17.30 the next.

Core Responsibilities:
• General Administration
• Inputting bookings on the systems
• Assisting customers over email, telephone and live chat
• Booking venues for events
• Contacting speakers to sign up to events
• Attending events and completing onsite administration (Events are Monday-Friday)
• Contacting delegates after events to gather feedback

Key Performance Indicators:
• Prioritise workload to enable tasks to be carried out within deadlines given.
• Take ownership of own time and workload.

Candidates need to be competent with MS Office and have previous office administration experience.

Person Specification:
• Excellent MS Office knowledge, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and extensive knowledge of email
• Good analytical, numeric and literacy skills
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Good cultural fit against Company values and beliefs
• Good communicator at all levels
• Maintains a positive attitude, self-motivated and uses own initiative
• Professional in appearance, conduct, language and manner
• High standard of work quality
• Desire to help and support
