A key client of mine based in Epsom are looking for an enthusiastic and committed housing professional with excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work to targets and meet deadlines. With a focus on meeting the needs of our customers, be self-motivated and possess an aptitude to meet challenges and adapt to change. You will be required to work with partners to deliver a community based service.
The role reports into the Neighbourhood Team Leader and is required to provide a high quality service to the homeowners and intermediate rent tenants.
You will responding to homeowner enquiries in accordance with the companies standards of service.
You will deal with enquiries relating to leasehold and shared ownership re-sales, re-mortgages and staircasing transactions.
Liaising with solicitors and mortgage companies and attending court as required.
Processing application for the right to buy and right to acquire liaising with solicitors and relevant parties.
You will be required to undertake formal and informal consultation including s20 consultation in accordance with the procedures and timescales laid out in the legislation.
The successful candidate with have experience in a housing sector or customer service environment. You will need to have knowledge of leasehold/ tenancy management legalities and issues. You will need good IT skills including Word, Excel and outlook. You would be at an advantage if you have experience in management of leasehold or shared ownership and have a recognised qualification in housing management, property management or legal qualification.
The successful applicant should be educated to GCSE level, BTEC, GNVQ Intermediate, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Experience of working in a similar environment is essential. Practical knowledge of MS Word and Excel and office administration is important.
The role is based in Epsom, and initially on a 6 month contract basis. You will be paid £32,636 (pro rata) and the interviews will be held virtually on 4th & 5th of June.
