The company & role; 
My client is a market leading, forward thinking buisiness in the pharamaceutical indsutry. Based in Lancashire - they are looking to bring on board a new National Account Manager who will bring on new business as well as manage a host of their top accounts.
They are looking for someone who has experience within the pharma industry, who has worked in a similar role who can demonstrate their capability to work directly with retailers. 

The candidate requirements; 
The successful candidate will recruit new retailers to distribute our brand and to build relationships with existing customers putting marketing plans in place for growth and broadening the range of our products in the accounts. As a result of the companies’ lead generation strategy, you will also follow up on qualified leads received through the companies’ website and through attending exhibitions.

You will have excellent presentation skills as you will be required to plan and prepare company presentations for new and existing customers, with the ability to confidently communicate new product developments.

The job will involve you spending part of your time based in the Head Office near Preston making calls to contacts and arranging meetings and the remainder of your time will be spent attending the meetings. This is a nationwide role so travel will be required.

Basic salary circa £35k + company car + Bonuses +benefits

Requirements ; 
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the retail sector / FMCG. Health industry / OTC experience would be advantageous.
• A proven track record of winning new business, hitting sales targets and developing long-term business strategies.
• Formally sales trained with good administrative, organisational and time management skills
• Highly numerate with the ability to calculate margins that meet the company objectives
• Used to working as part of a team to help achieve company objectives.
• Commercially aware and an excellent communicator and negotiator.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK
• Enthusiastic, self-driven, hard-working and ambitious.
