Music Teacher Needed for September ASAP 

Reed Education are currently working with a great school on an exciting new role in the Waltham Forest (Leyton). 

We are looking for a Music teacher for Long- term position to get involved with the community of the school. The School: A “good” school dedicated to teaching student through life experience and academic learning and wants to make sure every member feels individually valued.  

The School: 

  • Graded “Good” by Ofsted 

  • Secondary school with sixth form  

  • 1200 + students on role 

  • Based in Waltham Forest 

  • Visionary Senior Leadership Team 

  • Close to good transport links 

  • Strong ties to the community 

The Role: 

  • Plan, deliver and run engaging Music lessons 

  • Prepare students for both GCSE exams 

  • To support and attend school events that require music support or performance and celebrate or promote performing arts 

  • Run extracurricular clubs 

  • Become an integral part of a Performance department 

What you will need: 

  • QTS / PGCE 

  • Have Music related degree 

  • Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades 

  • Strong leadership and classroom management.  

  • Creativity skills are preferred as new lesson resources are encouraged within the department 

  • To be committed and dedicated to providing engaging lessons to the students
