Hours of Work: 45 Hours per week, Monday- Friday. You are required to be available to attend out of hours call outs at weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

About us:

My client has over 15 years’ experience in providing a professional and responsive property maintenance service to the commercial, industrial and retail sectors in London and the Home Counties. Our offices are based in Dartford, Kent, which is ideally located next to the M25 and near to the M20 and the A2 allowing direct access to the motorway network and into central London.

Due to our expanding client base we are currently looking for candidates who live within South East London (SE and SW postcode areas only) and who can gain easy access into London including Central London.

We will not consider applications received outside of these postcode areas and therefore you will not receive a response.

Purpose of the Job:
To respond to reactive and planned maintenance works at residential, commercial and retail premises and complete repairs as directed by the help desk and effect the necessary repairs/works to the customers satisfaction. The role entails working independently and at times within a team.

Job Details:
You will be provided with a modern satellite tracked, fully liveried and equipped vehicle, however you are expected to provide a minimum of a basic set of hand and power tools. Applicants must be 25 years or older with a drivers licence held for at least 2 years.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Be able to carry out a range of multi trade functions to a high standard.
Complete all reactive and planned maintenance to a high standard working in an organised and safe manner.
Ensure that customers and colleagues are dealt with in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner at all times.
Role models a high standard of conduct and behavior to customers and colleagues.
Complete all administration accurately and meet the required deadlines.

Key skills and experience:
Proven experience working within a maintenance or construction environment and/or knowledge of property maintenance processes.
Certified skills experience an advantage.
