My client is a successful Mortgage Brokerage who are one of the largest specialist firms in their niche field within the UK. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to it's clientele, working alongside the majority of the lenders within the marketplace.

The company are currently looking for a talented Mortgage Administrator to join their established team based within their Watford, Herts office.

As a Mortgage Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the mortgage brokers with the application process which will involve processing mortgage applications up to completion and communicating with clients, solicitors, lenders and surveyors by telephone and email.

You will be involved in a wide variety tasks in the administration of the residential mortgages arranged by a busy team of mortgage consultants. You will have a busy caseload, so you will be chasing a variety of cases - being organised is essential!

You will update mortgage cases on the firms CRM system (Mortgage Stream) and other appropriate systems to ensure all records are compliant.

Your will maintain client relationships providing updates on both current cases and also previous clients cases on behalf of advisers. Extensively liaising with both clients and lenders.

The standard working hours within this role are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 17:30pm although flexible working hours are available where required.

Parking is freely available onsite at the office location.


Required Experience;

- Mortgage Administration experience, within the independent market preferred but not essential.
- Good general knowledge of life and mortgage related products and legislation.
- A keen eye for detail, since you will be required to submit mortgage cases to lenders.
- Confident and well-spoken with a good telephone manner.
- A self-starter - happy to not be micro-managed.
- Personable and good communication skills - both written and spoken.

In turn you will receive a competitive basic salary of up to £30,000, plus benefits including an annual bonus and pension/health insurance scheme.
