Fixed term contract: 12 month Maternity Cover
Salary: £29,000

An exciting opportunity has become available for one of my established growing clients who are currently seeking a talented MIS Manager to cover 12 months maternity leave. This opportunity is fantastic for someone who is currently working as a MIS Officer & wants to to step up the ladder and gain senior experience.

The ideal candidate will need to have a strong track record and experience working with multi-disciplined government funded training provisions and will be responsible for promoting the highest data integrity and compliance across the business to support the operational management.

The role

-  Responsible for the MIS department, promoting a smooth implementation of a
management and information system.
- Maintain expert knowledge regarding the use and storage of learner and ILR data,
particularly in relation to the Learner Management System, SFA and EFA funding
- Operate a cycle of continuous improvement identifying and implementing
efficiencies that improve business work-flow, which includes the management and
development of learner enrolment forms.
- Lead on the production and submission of compliant ILRs and data submission on
a monthly basis to maximise funding claims.
- Responsible for ensuring data integrity and compliance in relation to both back-end
and PFA audit compliance.
- Accurate reporting to senior management and directors.
-Manage day to day operational responsibilities of the including processing start
and leaver paperwork as well as exam registration systems and processes.

Essential Criteria

- Knowledge of all SFA and apprenticeship funding rules. 
- SFA claims process experience.
- Understanding and experience of PFA Audit.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of MIS within education, including management   of learner information.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to produce high   level reports.
- Strong understanding or accountancy and excellent numeracy skills.
- Knowledge of Achievement Rate Methodology and SQL reporting desirable


- Experience working and implementing Picks systems
