Method Development Analyst (HPLC) – Full time role in Pharmaceutical chemistry!

Are you an experienced method development quality control chemist with use of HPLC machines? Have you worked on new pharmaceutical formulations and API’s? There is a permanent role for you at this leading speciality chemicals producer based in the North East.

Your responsibilities as method development analyst will be:
• To write and validate method protocols specifically for HPLC
• To assess and improve upon existing methods, which may involve client contact
• To perform and document results within relevant standards such as GLP and cGMP
• To use other analytical equipment and techniques such as GC
• To occasionally supervise a small team of junior quality control chemists

You will be right for the role with this background:
• A degree in Chemistry or a related field
• A record of method development for HPLC in an industrial environment
• A practical understanding of chemical hazards and experience of working safely and to regulatory standards in a laboratory environment
• Excellent written and verbal skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• The ability to work well as a mentor within an established team
