Due to expansion, our client is looking for a Media Sales Executive to work within an established team and managing the whole entirety on behalf of your client (of which you will have 2-3 accounts) from publish, print, events, advertising and website, etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts of a number of clients within our existing portfolio. As a dedicated sales executive you will report to the Head of Sales and receive direction on increasing advertising revenue. You will be expected to structure and manage your day to day workload using your own initiative.
Responsibilities will include:
- Specifically assigned print titles and working to specific targets
- Up selling clients across e-newsletters and digital
- Managing and growing new business database of potential advertisers for your titles
- Standard sales administration from raising orders to issue revenue reporting
- Regular client correspondence and periodic face to face meetings
What we are looking for:
- At least 1-year media sales experience or
- At least 1-year telephone sales experience
- Experience ideally in b2b/b2c advertising sales role
- Applicants will need to be confident, motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills and a people-first approach
- The candidate must be a fast learner and team orientated individual with a compelling telephone manner, able to lead source and think laterally
- Understanding of print and digital media
