The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge across the curriculum especially in Maths, with outstanding teaching ability and a passion for teaching which will inspire both our students and colleagues. You will be;

* Teaching maths to students social, emotional and mental health needs
* Teaching small classes of up to six students
* Working as a form tutor
* Planning and preparing all lesson - includes marking and attending parents evening
* Attending all staff meetings
* Providing pastoral and academic support
* Managing behaviour
* Working as part of a team
* Able to deliver maths to minimum of key stage three
* Able to commit to a full time position
* you will be abiding by school health and safety/ safeguarding regulation

The successful applicant will have:

• a teaching qualification or teaching experience

• experience and a passion for working on Maths at KS3

• desirable knowledge of other curriculum subjects

• experience of working within an SEMH school

• excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate and inspire colleagues

• a flexible and enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to embed a positive culture of learning amongst staff and students.
