Reed Education Bristol is currently looking for a Maths Teacher with the sincere desire the improve pupil performance across the Key Stages 3 and 4 to begin as soon as possible for the rest of the academic year and into September. Obviously with the current Covid19 situation we don’t have an exact start date I am afraid. The role is in a mixed 11-18 secondary school in the Bristol City LEA which is well known and well-liked by many of our Teachers.

You will be fluent with the new specifications for GCSE Numeracy with experience of teaching the subject welcomed. You will be a talented practitioner with the ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons for learners and to embed differentiation strategies accordingly. You will be able to demonstrable effective strategies to ensure an immediate and lasting impact on learner progress. Experience of embedding technology within your practice and pupil-led inquiry-based teaching strategies is preferred but not essential.

To be considered for the role, you will be/will have:

A qualified teacher (QTS status);

An honours degree or equivalent in Maths or another Maths related subject;

Experience of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences up to KS4 (KS5 desirable);

A sincere desire to see all pupils improve and strategies to ensure positive attainment;

Effective class management with pupils at all levels;

Tenacious attitude with a devotion to self-improvement.
