This exciting opportunity has been created due to business growth, and would involve you working closely with the sales, and operations teams to ensure that the BOMs and parts database is accurate.
 As a pivotal position between sales and operations you’ll support the business in the delivery of great customer service and efficient operational performance by producing quotes, reviewing production routings and making recommendations for continuous improvement activity.


• To create and maintain Part and BOM details within the ERP system including but not limited to part set up, BOMs and routings with costs and assembly times.
• Regularly monitor and review progress against production plan to ensure ERP times are achievable.
• Respond to BOM queries raised by other areas, ensuring timely and accurate problem resolution
• Maintain the integrity of the ERP data and processes to reflect the business needs.
• Coordinate engineering change activities to support the addition or deletion of old, new or modified parts and BOMs.
• Establish materials, and labour costs from drawings and project specifications for purposes such as sales, planning, organising, and scheduling work.
• Working with colleagues in the sales team to prepare quotations against draft BOMs.
• Maintain related processes for efficient delivery of engineering change solutions whilst maintaining quality and data integrity.


• Experience of working with ERP/MRP system to maintain BOM structures.
• Educated to degree level in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Working internally and externally with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Have a eye for detail and be able to interpret and analyse data
• Able to read technical drawings and understand CAD file structures.
• Must be a good communicator and able to build sustainable relationships
• Excellent computer skills and good understanding of Excel
• Flexibility, customer focused approach to work and operational change.
