An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Banbury area for an experienced Marketing professional. My client has recently relocated to the area and is entering an exciting time of growth and opportunity.

As one of the world’s largest service franchise organisations, my client has over 200 franchise locations around the UK. You will be joining a motivated and friendly team in a fast paced environment where team work is the key to success.

The role of Marketing Officer will be based in Banbury and will be reporting to the UK Marketing Manager. This role is very hands on and practical and the successful candidate will be contributing to the development, implementation and improvement of local marketing plans as well as maintaining day-to-day marketing efforts such as website updates and content creation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating/ assisting in the creation of local marketing plans
• Preparation and implementation of plans along with associated collateral
• Assisting franchisees with content creation and local PR coverage/ strategies
• Collaborate with other team teams to develop and enhance existing marketing channels and strategies
• Aid in managing day-to-day marketing activities for our current and new franchisees (such as social media posts, blog content, website updates)
• Recommend advertising opportunities to drive awareness and engagement

The ideal candidate will have: 

• At least 1 year of work experience in PR, marketing or communications
• Degree in PR, Communications or Marketing preferred
• Good knowledge of digital marketing channels
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong initiative, adaptability, decision making, and collaboration skills
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with senior management and all franchise partners and all stakeholders in a timely manner (orally and in writing)
