REED Marketing & Creative are working with a leading Energy Provider based in the Tyne & Wear area, who are currently recruiting for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their Head Office team on a full-time and permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the development of the overall business marketing strategy and will report directly to the Director on campaign ideas/ campaign success, and oversee day-to-day marketing activities.

The salary for the role is £30,000 per annum.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop the business marketing plan and strategy to align with company ethos and goals.
• Develop a marketing strategy in line with company objectives and budgets.
• Take overall responsibility for the corporate and brand identity.
• Manage all marketing and associated activities and coordinate campaigns with sales.
• Plan, create and implement all marketing material in line with marketing plans and promotional campaigns.
• Plan, create and implement all digital marketing strategy - social media, SEO, PPC.
• Website management.
• Create and implement engaging content on various platforms.
• Work across all media including online, social media and PR with a view to improving lead generation.
• Design, implement and review analytical data across all social media campaigns and sectors.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
• Work closely with relevant agencies on new and existing products.
• Identify and develop potential strategic partners and customers.
• Create and implement email marketing campaigns.
• Responsible for the Marketing Budget, you will hold regular meetings with finance and seniors to report.
• Edit sales and marketing collateral.

Candidate requirements:

• A degree in Marketing/ Business.
• Previous experience of working as a Marketing Manager.
• B2C experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media and SEO.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
