REED Marketing and Creative are currently working with a leading professional services firm based in Newcastle city centre, who are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager on a full-time and permanent basis.

The salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (negotiable).

Main responsibilities:

• Create, manage and deliver successful online and offline marketing campaigns for the business.
• Manage and control the budget and spend for the marketing and business development departments.
• Work with Head of Marketing to agree budget.
• Work with Head of Marketing develop a business marketing plan.
• Review marketing activities and ensure all planned activity has been completed on time.
• Event management - on-the-day delivery of events and seminars.
• Manage all bookings of venues for seminar/events.
• Manage the distribution of invitations, monitor responses and manage cancellations.
• Prepare supporting marketing materials and collateral, including documentation, literature packs, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Manage and implement website and email marketing campaigns.
• Create and manage content on the company website.
• Create and manage all design and imagery/ video for the company website.
• Responsible for search engine optimisation and maximising digital opportunities.
• Write articles for the company e-newsletter and email marketing campaigns.
• Upload articles to the company website using CMS.
• Manage all content for social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Manage all advertising and promotional material.
• Evaluate and book all advertising opportunities - print and online
• Create engaging adverts and marketing literature via Adobe.
• Identify and organise all sponsorship opportunities.
• Manage all Public Relations.
• Evaluate and book all editorial opportunities.
• Identify and research client and internal stories for press releases.
• Prepare agency briefs - Design, PR and Digital.
• Write and proof read articles and press releases.
• Identify tender opportunities and collate relevant information for submission.
• Database management
• Ensure the CRM system is kept up-to-date.

Candidate requirements:

• A degree or relevant qualification in Marketing or related subject.
• Previous Marketing/ Digital Marketing experience.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Previous management experience.
• Previous budget management experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Social Media, Email Marketing and Digital.
