We have an exciting 12 month FTC for a Marketing Communications Planner based in St Neots with a salary of up to £35,000.

The companies EMEA Marketing team is seeking an experienced Marketing Planner to take the lead on our strategic Marketing Communications calendar in line with business objectives, working closely with the rest of the marketing team to see it through to successful execution. The job holder will seek to optimise our marketing communications calendar based on business needs, KPI results and analytics data. The job holder will be responsible for implementing, managing and optimising the marketing communications calendar for the EMEA region including pay per click campaigns (PPC), exhibitions, advertising, website updates, e-mail marketing, public relations, social media, literature and promotional activity amongst others.
- 3-5 years’ work experience as a Marketing Communications Planner or in a related field within a B2B environment
- Proven understanding of media and communications channels within a B2B environment
- Previous experience with Google Analytics and CRM
- Confident user of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Exceptional eye for detail, time management & interpersonal skills
- Educated to a degree level
- Desirable attributes: strategic commercial mindset, curious and creative, analytical mind, problem solver, confident communicator, detail oriented, quick learner, adaptable
- Manage and maintain marketing plans for all 3 business segments (Fluid Handling, Test & Measurement and Biosciences) across the EMEA region
- Work cross-functionally with Product Sales Managers to translate their respective brand and product priorities into a rolling marketing communications calendar, in line with business strategy
- Work closely with the local sales teams in the UK, France, Germany and Italy to understand and reflect the local business needs and priorities in the EMEA Marketing Communications calendar
- Liaise with all 7 members of the EMEA Marketing team to see through the successful execution of the Marketing Communications calendar
- Measure, analyse and report on all aspects of EMEA marketing communications calendar, providing regular reports and value-driven recommendations to senior management
- Work with the wider Marketing team to improve customer segmentation and optimise marketing automation campaigns, as part of the communications strategy
- Correlate marketing activity with sales revenue, competitor activity, customer behaviour and industry trends to put in place an ROI-driven marketing communications calendar
-Take a proactive and entrepreneurial approach in optimising marketing activities and driving growth

A scientific background or understanding would be an advantage.
