Your new company are a 300+ staff manufacturing business with an excellent production facility.  With a focus on manufacturing in-house as much as possible, this organisation have a breadth of capabilities from machining, assembly and further.

Your new role

Your new role as Manufacturing Cost Analyst will provide reporting support to the Operations Group and will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Sites' Cost Data.

You will act as process owner for SFDC, Cycle Count, Standard Setting and Stocktake processes and will produce estimates for Inter Site sales of components / assemblies.

You will provide Technical Support for and help organise the annual stocktake.

You will provide backup and support for Engineering Change Process within Operations and will conduct regular system maintenance functions within MFG e.g. WIP clear down and WOAC.

Specific responsibilities in your new role will be the production of regular reports that cover - Stock Valuation, Productivity, Flex, MPV - Manufacturing purchasing variance,; Business Balanced Scorecard, Capacity Planning.

You will ensure the on-going maintenance and development of the following processes - Perpetual Inventory Cycle Counts, Capacity Planning and Product Costing.

To be successful in this role

To be successful in this role you will have an engineering or manufacturing background and experience working with ERP / MRP systems.

You will have experience relevant to the role as describe above and you will have fantastic accuracy in terms of numerical skills as well as written and verbal.

You will have strong communication skills that enable you to effectively build relationships with managers and communicate business requirements easily.
