Reed Accountancy are currently seeking a highly experienced Qualified Management Accountant for an interim position in Solihull.
We are looking for an individual that can bring value to the service with the skills, abilities and the experience they possess. Initially the role will deliver the financial management and management accounting aspect of the role working directly to the Commercial Manager.
This is envisaged to take a period of 4 months of in depth review before returning to regular reporting. The successful individual will be a self-starter, adept in quickly understanding our finances, business and the relationship between the two, bringing financial clarity to financial and non-financial colleagues and is able to support the service to ensure that it is viable. Work will start in earnest in revisiting budgets, completing monthly forecasts, reviewing our fees, etc. with the overall intention of ensuring good financial management of the business.
Support will not only be provided by the Commercial Manager but the finance department will also provide support in understanding Oracle (our financial system) and financial processes. There is an expectation of excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel (macros, V-lookups and pivot tables) but that the individual is not only able to ‘crunch’ the numbers but appreciates the impacts and can support the service to maintain good financial health.
