Circa £22-£28k depending on industry experience

If you are have experience in the HGV/fleet sector and are looking for an exciting and unique opportunity to join a highly successful, expanding organisation specialising in fleet services then this could be the opportunity for you.
Reporting to the maintenance control manager the main duty of the role is to help manage and control the company’s repair and maintenance spend in conjunction with other departments such as service and engineering. This job would either suit a person with experience in fleet maintenance administration or perhaps a qualified technician or supervisor who is looking for a more office based job.


Main Duties Will be:

Support other departments with regards to cost control, repair and maintenance information.
Liaise with colleagues throughout the group, ensuring that all procedures are followed to maximise compliance and efficiency
Liaise with a varied range of suppliers to ensure maximum cost control.
Ensure all invoices are processed and authorised prior to supplier payment.
Check vehicle service history’s to eliminate reoccurring faults.
All order numbers and job cards are authorised.
Ensure all supplier purchase invoices are correct and all charges meet service level agreements.
Check for warranty and policy claims
Ensure fully aware of the standards (updates or improvements) of vehicles and equipment.
To establish reason for equipment/part failure for an engineering point of view e.g. general wear and tear or driver misuse.


The successful candidate will have a desire to grow within the company and take themselves to management level. They will ideally be educated in an engineering discipline and have a strong interest in vehicles and maintenance. They will need strong administrative skills and be able to gain a good understanding of various vehicle specifications.

This is an opportunity for somebody to join a developing and expanding department at the heart of the business and to be responsible for ensuring the continuity of the workload when the manager is not available.
