The Logistics Administrator is responsible for assisting the Operations Team in the running of Operations department within the company.
The primary role of the Logistics & Asset Administrator will be the coordinating and implementing of tasks that provide support to Operational Projects. Key responsibilities include maintenance and internal organization of operational projects, to ensure consistency, quality improvement, and efficiency in the department.


Responsibilities:

• Arranging Logistics for equipment & Assets from head office to ground staff and client sites
• Managing intake and issue of all equipment, including booking and preparing equipment for courier consignments
• Monitoring/tracking equipment on a daily basis by job site, type and use including managing the Equipment Schedule and arranging kit movement
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with company assets; generate purchase orders for repairs or required maintenance
• Management of PPE, including maintaining the system logs and issuing to ground staff
• Supervision of head office stores, including daily maintenance and organisation including all associated documentation and recording keeping
• Daily liaison with ground by telephone and email to ensure smooth logistics of the project
• Booking/off-hiring operational projects with clients and maintaining correspondence during live projects
• Preparing Project Instructions and Method Statements to email to ground staff prior to the start of a project
• Booking accommodation for ground staff when required and maintaining a bookings log
• Filing paperwork received from ground staff both electronically and hard copy
• Raising purchase orders with Suppliers for suppliers and other operational purchases
• Booking training courses and medicals and maintaining training records
• Other administrative/logistical tasks that may come up to support the Operational Team in its primary function
Key Skills
• Must be highly organised and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
• Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients and following verbal and written instructions.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint),
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems systematically and effectively
