One of our clients in Solihull are recruiting for an Imports Coordinator to join them on a temporary to permanent basis starting immediately. The role will be full time hours and the successful individual will have experience in this field and be ready to start work within the next couple of weeks

Responsibilities will include:

-Supporting the import operation and maximising service whilst keeping costs low
-Analysing and identifying peaks in the season to forward plan
-Providing logistics solutions, identifying customer specific regulations or needs in relation to importing goods from relevant countries
-Liaising with freight forwarders, warehouse team, hauliers etc
-Meeting HMRC requirements and regulations when classifying products
-Updating relevant systems accurately
-Making sure that invoices conform to pre-agreed rates
-Setting KPIs and monitoring performance of freight forwarders, warehouse team, heauliers etc
