Reed Finance are assisting our client, a leading global brand, with the recruitment of a Liquidity Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract. This position is to support the busy liquidity reporting team, enhancing / automating processes where relevant to ensure timely and accurate reporting. 

Reporting into senior management, key duties and responsibilities include:

Supporting the reporting team as needed in the:

Production and submission of EBA and PRA liquidity returns

Daily monitoring and management reporting

Approval of the above

Identifying, implementing or requesting enhancements to the existing systems and processes

Reviewing processes and implementing process improvements

Supporting review and updates of all liquidity reporting procedures

Reviewing and implementing process controls

Assisting with ad hoc projects and analysis.

Understanding new liquidity reporting system for launch in February 2021

Leading UAT on behalf of reporting team

Supporting project team in ad hoc and launch activities

Supporting reporting using new system

Identifying and implementing modifications to project plan where required

Identifying, documenting, raising and implementing system enhancements, defect resolutions and IT requests, for development through appropriate IT channels.

Providing ongoing support to deliver permanent solutions in place of temporary & tactical processes and refine system documentation accordingly

Essential requirements:

Prior liquidity regulatory reporting experience

Knowledge of EBA and PRA reporting regulation

Prior UAT experience

Process improvement mindset

A strong teamwork ethic, focusing on the resolution of issues

Ability to work under pressure, accurately and to tight deadlines

Good attention to detail

Good communication skills as role requires working with cross-functional areas of the business including locations and IT

Ability to prioritise work effectively and balance competing requirements

Experienced with the use of Excel

Experience of using third party reporting software provider, in particular Wolters Kluwer

Experience of managing projects

Experienced with the use of Alteryx

Strong analytical skills

Good presentation skills
