Reed Education are currently supporting a fantastic Nursery based in the Lambeth area, who are currently looking for an enthusiastic permanent Nursery Practitioner. 

This Ofsted registered day nursery caters for children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years of age, with wonderful career opportunities for growth within the organization. 

Nursery aims are:


•Ensure no child is excluded or disadvantaged because of his or her race, culture or religion, home language, family background, special educational needs, disability, gender or ability. Our policy is that all children should feel included, secure and valued.

•Acknowledge parents in their role as children's prime educators and seeks to promote a partnership with them that develops a shared understanding with mutual respect and dialogue.

•Provide activities that are appropriate to ensure that children acquire the necessary skills, concepts and attitudes that form part of the EYFS.

• The individual must have a passion for working with children and a desire to develop their skills further. There are also great training opportunities available for the successful candidates who would like to progress to Senior Practitioners.

• You must have excellent written and communication skills. You must be confident, flexible and have the ability to adapt, to multi-task and to use your own initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Supervision of the children, talking to parents, helping with planning within the nursery, completing children’s profiles, writing children’s reports, staying up-to-date with and tracking children’s progress, carrying out observations, be a key person to a group of children, fostering setting/parent partnerships, using curriculum's such as the EYFS to promote good practice and to promote positive and creative learning.


The ideal candidate will:

•Hold Level 3 qualification or above (level 2 for level 2 role)
•Have experience as a practitioner
•DBS cleared
•Calm and patient under pressure
