I am currently recruiting for a well established Law firm based in the Northfield area of Birmingham. 

This role will be required to provide an enhanced level of secretarial and administrative support to a fee earner and a manager as required to assist in the day to day running of their caseload and the practice.

Key duties:

Answer the telephone and respond to queries in a professional manner
Provide appropriate information to clients during a telephone enquiry bearing in mind Data Protection and Confidentiality requirements of the policies and procedures of the practice
Meet and greet clients and visitors to the office
Provide audio typing support to all fee earners
Type all legal documentation
Undertake typing in a speedy but accurate manner
Attend practice meetings
Ensure all legal documentation is handed to the correct fee earner within the right timescales
All other administration support as and hen required

Experience and skills required for the role:

Proven experience as a secretary is essential
Legal experience would be an advantage
MUST have excellent audio typing skills
Must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Must be professional at all times

This is a permanent role paying a salary of £15600 -19k dependant upon experience.

The hours of work are: 08.50-5.00 Monday to Friday.
