A client of ours, a well established, reputable legal firm, are looking to recruit an experienced Matrimonial Legal Secretary for a permanent full-time position, supporting two fee earners, working in the centre of Bradford.

General information

•Office Hours: 9-5.30 (1 hour for lunch)
•Holidays – starts at 24 days plus bank holidays
•Location: Bradford City Centre.

You will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Liaise with clients and fee-earners in person, by email, letter and telephone
• First point of contact for client queries in face and on the telephone
• Dealing with Court Bundles
• Ability to prioritise work and work to tight deadlines
• Prepare and produce documents
• Extensive audio typing
• Dealing with post and general administration as required by the department
• Typing for other departments as required

The following skills are required:

•Substantial experience working in Matrimonial department is essential
•Fast, accurate typing speed. Copy typing and audio typing.
•Knowledge of working on a case management system
•Proficient on MS office packages
•Strong communication, organisation skills and attention to detail
•Must be able to work in a demanding, fast paced environment
