Reed Education are currently working with a terrific Independent School on an exciting new role in the Middlesex area.
Starting from September 2017 the school are looking for an outstanding Learning Support Assistant to join them on a long-term basis.

The School:

• An excellent Independent School that caters to students aged 11-18
• Dedicated to supporting all pupils as they become independent, confident learners
• This school boasts a 100% pass rate at GCSE and A-Level – a testament to the pupils, teachers, and supporting staff

The Role:

• You will be supporting students in Year 7, 8, & 9 who require support both in the classroom, in groups and on a one to one basis. This will involve helping them with English, Maths, and Languages (Latin, German, and French).
• Working with the teachers and the SENCO you will be devising methods to ensure that pupils have the best possible opportunities to learn
• Initially to be from September for 1 term however, there is potential for this to be extended.

What you will need:

• Qualifications relating to support teaching, SEN, child development, or psychology are beneficial
• Experience working with students at Key Stage 2 or 3
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to be involved in the wider school community and extra-curricular activities
