Job Title: Learning support assistant
Location: Bristol
Pay rate: £14,870.00 - £16,441.72 pa per annum

Hours:     35 hrs p/w 
Duration: Term time only

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great 6th form college on an exciting new role in the Bristol area.

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding Lecturer to join them on a Permanent basis.

The College: 

The Role:
• You will be supporting in a further education setting
• Experience with providing educational or personal care support to individuals with learning disabilities.
• Able to adapt and respond to the strengths and needs of all students
• Have high expectations of behaviour, and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly
• Available to interview immediately

What you will need:

- To work with targeted students identified as having additional needs, either in a 1:1 or small group situation or in class as           appropriate.
- To work as part of the Learning Development Team providing targeted and specific support to students identified with High         Needs to develop skills and strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes, and to provide additional learning support to         other learners as appropriate.
- To possess excellent inter-personal skills in order to forge positive working relationships with staff, parents and students
- Strong team player who engages in team communications to ensure that all elements of student progress are effectively monitored and co-ordinated by the team;
· High ethical and professional standards with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external clients.
