L&D International Manager
Our Central London client in the professional services sector is seeking a creative Learning and Development Manager to take leadership of the international group wide learning and development function across their company for both the UK and Europe Offices with a salary of £55,000 - 60,000 on offer.
What will the role involve?
As the Learning and Development Manager you will work alongside the HR teams across countries to identify and devise a strategy on the talent and development of staff as the company continues to grow. You will assess training/skills gaps, develop initiatives, coach leaders, create and deliver training workshops both digitally and in person and work on international projects as well as working with external training facilitators too.
You will ultimately by responsible for improving capabilities across the business both in the UK and across Europe, upskilling staff and ensuring high retention of key individuals within the organisation through a robust training, performance reviews and key learning strategies you will create and implement.
What skills will you have?
Ideally you will have experience working in a similar position within Learning and Development and will be confident carrying out the role detailed above, be able to see and develop a long term strategy, goal and picture whilst ensuring people within the business buy in to training, coaching and workshops you have created and are delivering. You will be proactive at building relationships across the business striking rapport quickly with stakeholders where you will influence managers and guide them on people management and development.
You will have LMS administration experience in systems such as SumTotal, Saba, Cornerstone or Workday
Preferably you will have experience working on an international scale and having working experience of a matrixed organisation. As this role is international, you must be willing to travel overseas for this position. Prior work experience in the insurance industry or financial services is not essential but would be desirable
You will have CIPD or other relevant industry qualifications. Learning & development certifications are a a plus.
