This is an exciting and varied role for an experience Learning and Development Manager who is as comfortable working at a strategic level as they are in the training room.
The primary function of this role is developing, delivering and evaluating L&D activities. 

The role:

• To deliver and facilitate training and other learning solutions in an effective manner that meets the expectations of the learner and the business objectives for improved performance
• To work with key suppliers and stakeholders to manage, co-ordinate and deliver senior management and management development initiatives.
• To proactively build and maintain effective relationships across the group and 3rd party suppliers
• To own our Right Attitude, Right Outcome strategy and initiatives, delivering these with energy and passion
• To Design and deliver wellbeing and engagement projects
• To actively contribute to organisational wide succession planning and talent management programmes.
• To undertake training needs analysis as required to assist in defining delivery solutions
• Line management responsibility for the Operational Trainer and Training Admin Assistant
• Maintain up to date product and regulatory knowledge
• Assist with ad hoc projects as required

The person:

The successful candidate will have learning and development experience. You should also have experience of organisational design and development and culture and change projects. You will be able to hit the ground running and deliver training in all areas, (in particular soft skills training).

• Experience in the full training cycle, including training delivery and evaluation techniques
• Strong learning design capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Planning and prioritisation skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Ability to communicate and influence effectively with relevant audiences across the whole organisation.

Qualifications – desirable but not essential

Professional qualification e.g. Certificate in Training Practice, NVQ in Training and Development
CIPD membership or equivalent qualification or is actively working towards this qualification
