Reed Education are acting on behalf of a primary school in the Batley area. The school currently has a vacancy for a full time KS1 Teacher to commence a long term role by the October half term.

The Head Teacher wishes to appoint a KS1 specialist with previous experience of teaching at this level. The successful applicant will be able to deliver an enriching and creative curriculum to inspire, stimulate, challenge and support pupils in .

This primary school is based in the Kirklees area of Batley, in a diverse and colourful environment.
Within this excellent school, you will have access to a wealth of resources and facilities as well as a full time TA in class. Working collaboratively with the KS1 team, you will need to be able to plan and assess meticulously to cater to the needs of a diverse class.

Behaviour across the school is generally good and you will need to fully embrace the school's behaviour management policy and ethos in order to uphold standards.

The successful applicant will have:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK

- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills

- Previous experience of teaching in the UK

- Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum requirements for KS1

- Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare

- The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds

- Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard

- A commitment to improving attainment for all students

- A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
