Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager

I’m currently working with a leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen extraction and fabrication who supply to the catering industry via distributors across the North of England. They pride themselves on excellent quality products, unrivalled service and the ability to manufacture and supply at short notice.

As part of their growth plans over the next 3 years, they a looking to recruit a Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager to manage and develop existing relationships with key distributors as well as to develop new relationships with other distributors across the North of England.

Key Accountabilities
• Developing existing key accounts and advising on the company product portfolio both current and potentials innovations
• Promote and develop additional streams of business, driven via the account plan and agreed with the Managing Director
• Negotiation of costings for the design, supply and fit of all products, driving maximum profit margins
• Identification and acquisition of new distributors across the North of England
• Presentation of product portfolio to new and existing clients and at trade shows / events
• Maintaining strong relationships with the in-house design and manufacture team to ensure seamless and on-time installations

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have experience in commercial kitchen fit-outs,  fabrication or commercial kitchen extraction either direct to the catering industry or via distributors. However, if you have a strong background in key account management and/or new business development then we would certainly like to hear from you.

The basic salary for the role is up to £45,000 and there will be a bonus structure, car allowance, laptop, mobile and you’ll have the back-up of an established, successful and winning team to help you succeed.
