My client a highly successful IFA Practice in the Oxford area, is actively looking to recruit a Junior Adviser to work within the practice. The applicant will support the MD along other Advisers and their clients who are looking at some stage to retire from the business. The role will purely be an employed established client relationship role and there will be no requirement to bring in new business. All the work carried out will be with a full existing client bank.
This is an incredible opportunity for a skilled Client facing Financial Services candidate who has the minimum of the Full Diploma Qualification.
The client is looking for a junior Financial Planner who will work directly with the Managing Director who still actively looks after the top 70 clients of the firm. The overall objective is for the individual to gradually take over the day-to-day relationship with these clients and their families as the Managing Director slowly steps back from direct Client Management whilst the firm continues to grow. We would want this to become very much a long-term position. Over time, we would like this person to grow into a senior management position within the firm and ideally become an equity holder in the firm.
The client base is spread across London and Home Counties. We see the clients in our offices, at their premises and also through video conferencing.
What basics are we looking for:
o Qualified to level 4 CII Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning
o Minimum 1 year experience as Financial Planner
o Basic working knowledge of Voyant
o Basic working knowledge of Intelliflo
o Must be able to work as part of a Team
o Own a Car (mileage expenses covered)

This is an employed position where you will be working with existing clients of the Firm under the mentoring of the Managing Director, a Chartered Financial Planner. He has served for 6 years on the board of the Personal Financial Society and is a Past President.
Other Contractual Elements
o Annual salary (£30,000 to £40,000)
o Non-contributory pension scheme (8% of salary paid into pension scheme)
o Participation in Profit-share
o Long Term Sick pay at 50% salary after 6 months
