IT Support sought after by a leading brokerage firm in London.

Permanent - up to £30k

• Ownership of problems reported through email, service desk software and telephone
• Escalate issues to vendor support when required ensuring open issues are managed at all times
• Maintain documentation and user guides
• Pro-active management, monitoring and deployment of technology
• Co-ordinate moves and changes
• Provide advice and guidance to users
• Stay abreast of new technologies
• Incident/problem management
• Maintaining and monitoring asset tag database
• 1st and 2nd line desktop support
• 1st and 2nd line VOIP support
• 1st and 2nd line dealer board support (Speakerbus)
• Co-ordination and implementation of various rollouts such as applications, hardware/OS
• Maintain standard desktop images and installs
• Responsible for administration of WSUS, AD, Email, Anti-virus, CUCM and other integral business applications for the business
• Responsible for the management and deployment of hardware infrastructure
• Other responsibilities and ad hoc projects as reasonably advised from time to time

Experience & Technical Skills

• 2 years or more experience
• Office, Windows XP/7, Windows Server 2008 R2/2012
• Full understanding of connecting machines to gigabit Ethernet IPv4 switched network
• Confidence working with server software and computer hardware
• Background understanding of factors affecting broking and broker platforms


• Trade floor, banking or similar financial services industry experience
• Understanding and experience of Voice Recording and dealer board technologies desirable
• Understanding and experience of implementing IPv4 networks and routing
• Confident in troubleshooting network, VOIP and dealer board problems
• Understanding of Linux
