We have an excellent opportunity to work with a prestigious client here in Norwich City Centre for an entry level IT Technician.
You will be acting as the Hardware / software / communications first line of support for the business. Liaising with software houses and support companies to fix IT problems quickly and efficiently. To develop and run the IT helpdesk in conjunction with the Senior IT Technician, ensuring all issues are logged and dealt with on a priority basis.
You will be actively involved in all new IT projects supporting the Senior IT Technician in their testing and implementation.
Manage control, maintain and manage the phone systems
You will assist the IT Network & Projects Manager in maximising system performance and by reducing overall downtime by ensuring that any works affecting systems are done out of hours.
The Junior IT Technician is responsible for all clerical functions of the IT department. Management of helpdesk tasks. Managing all ordering, purchases and invoicing. Data entry and corrections. Running reports for other departments. Flagging alerts of system faults. Basic IT tasks.
