I'm working with one of my clients based just North of Nottingham who is looking for a Tech Support Team Lead to come in and give guidance and technical expertise to their current team.
This would ideally be suited to someone who has a number of years at 3rd or 2/3rd line duties and is looking to take the next step in their career.
You would be a point of technical escalation to the 1st and 2nd line guys whilst also acting as a mentor and give supervision where necessary whilst reporting into the IT Manager.
You will be expected to have experience with the likes of:
. Problem analysis and resolution skills
. Strong written and verbal communication
. Excellent attention to detail
. Good technical knowledge of supporting Windows Server & Desktop operating systems
. Configure & deployment of Servers, PC’s & Laptops.
. Active Directory Administration including Group Policy
. VMware Virtualisation Technology
. Microsoft Outlook & Exchange Administration
. Microsoft Office 2016
. Printing & Scanning, configuration and management
. Anti-Virus & Encryption
. Basic networking skills (TCP/IP, Patching & Wireless connectivity)
. Avaya IP Telephony is desirable
. Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure
. Honesty, integrity and commitment
. Supervising other engineers
The position would be subject to a shift rota (8-4 and 10-6) and a 1 in 4 Saturday shift.
