IT SUPPORT ANALYST / IT SUPPORT ENGINEER / IT SUPPORT / TECHNICAL SUPPORT
I am currently recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer for my client based in the Swansea area. This role is working with a team of 5 technical support engineers and is working with an established IT Organisation. This role is offering a salary of up to £39,000 per annum, 25 days holiday & bank holidays, Life Insurance and a Solid Pension Scheme.
You will be responsible for building solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders which may include internal employees or hardware / software providers. You will install and configure computer hardware operating systems and test / evaluate new technology. You will troubleshoot system and network problems and ensure you are working within agreed SLAs. You will be comfortable prioritising and managing open cases and provide general IT Support such as setting up new user accounts and profiles, dealing with password issues and creating reports.
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to prioritise your own workload. You will be proficient with Windows Server 2016, 2012 and 2008, Exchange 2016, 2013, 2010, Microsoft SQL, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 and be comfortable providing remote support. Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Azure and Active Directory are desirable but not essential for this role.
