IT Solutions Analyst
An Award winning Global Bank are seeking an IT Solutions Analyst to be based at their Sheffield Location with a Day Rate of £500.
Job Role
The role of the IT Solutions Analyst is to analyse and refine business requirements prior to translating those requirements into cost effective IT Systems solutions, in line with Global Software Delivery Architecture standards.
The Solution Analyst is expected to work, often independently, throughout the project lifecycle; from project initiation and inception through elaboration and construction, regularly handling multiple concurrent activities. They will form key relationships with PCM, Transformation, ITID and internal IT stakeholders as well as other departmental counterparts

Your responsibilities will include:
• Elaborating business needs and requirements into IT and Systems requirements
• Analysing and defining appropriate IT solutions, working closely with Payments & PCM IT product owners and architects
• Documenting relevant solutions proposals into appropriate artefacts
• Producing accurate software delivery estimates to the appropriate level of tolerance
• Ensuring technology solutions align with global software delivery architecture principles
• Negotiating and influencing project scope, including the assessment of proposed change
Skills/Experience:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of a broad range of IT and Payments Systems
• Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Payments & PCM IT, Core Banking.
• Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. IT Business or Systems Analysis
• Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Microsoft Office applications
• Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. Occasional national travel may be required.
• Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Experience of working with standard or agile development methodologies. is desirable but not essential
• Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Payments and PCM / Core Banking / Channels is desirable but not essential
• A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
• A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
• Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
• Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
• Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
• Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
• Used their business knowledge and understanding of customer needs to successfully manage and grow customer relationships
