Our client, the ‘go-to’ energy company are seeking an IT Service Desk Team Leader to join and lead their team.

This role acts as the focal point for co-ordination and escalation of IT service activities. Strong focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery of customer-centric services.

You will report to the Head of IT Service & Operations

Position- IT Service Desk Team Leader
Location- Ipswich
Salary- £35k-40k per annum dependant on experience

• Design and implement customer-centric processes, incorporating Group capabilities as appropriate
• Manage, mentor, develop and motivate Service Desk Staff
• Manage the overall IT Service Delivery for Haven Power, ensuring that incidents and requests are dealt with within SLA
• Manage escalations from stakeholders across the business
• Purchase of PC hardware, software and peripherals, in conjunction with Procurement

Key requirements for the IT Service Desk Team Leader
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM
• Qualification within the ITIL v3 Foundation framework and best practices
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Experience in driving the right behaviour from service providers (including third parties)
• Experience in service management managing cross functioning teams
• Ability to manage
• High level of computer literacy and technical ability across the entire IT corporate and operational environments
